Apple Cider Vinegar Candida Treatment

Apple Cider Vinegar Candida Treatment

Apple Cider Vinegar CandidaAlthough using Apple Cider Vinegar is one of the oldest ways that are followed to remove the fungal infection, but for getting rid of the Candida infections, doctors mostly prescribe anti-fungal drugs that aim to clear fungal growth, but these anti-fungal drugs can also destroy the friendly bacteria within the gut. Also, these pills, in most of the cases, can treat mild infections and fight with the symptoms but that is not the right solution for highly infected patients, as the infection should be removed from its root. The most efficient way to do that is to replenish the friendly bacteria that live in the gut to naturally clear the yeast overgrowth. This is where the Candida apple cider vinegar treatment can be highly effective, as it is made with a fermentation process that uses beneficial yeasts that help these friendly bacteria to thrive and out-number the fungal growth from the root source.

Instead of using ointments or creams which are full of different chemicals for treating any fungal infection in the skin or acne, it is more efficient to use apple cider vinegar for treating them. Candia apple cider vinegar treatment can work wonders to clear various types of Candida overgrowth in the body, and can be applied externally, or taken orally in small quantities. The Candia apple cider vinegar treatment is also known to balance the pH level in the blood of our body.

According to freelance writer: ‘Elizabeth Walling’ who specializes in the nutrition and health, if one is infected with fungal overgrowth, we don’t always need doctors and their prescriptions. As natural methods can be far more effective than the medicines and drugs. Like by using raw, unpasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar that can fight the infection. She also mentions that in the first few days, after consuming or applying Candida apple cider vinegar the symptoms may also get worse, but will later clear away with time. So it is safe to say although apple cider vinegar can have side effects, it is quite beneficial to use it instead of prescribed drugs.

Sometimes Apple Cider Vinegar Works Too Well and Sometimes It Doesn’t:

Apple Cider Vinegar creates a die-off reaction in the stomach for the Candida yeast residing there. It cures the intestinal infection by killing the yeast, but there are also some drawbacks of using this vinegar, as when a large amount of yeast is killed within a very short period of time using apple cider vinegar Candida treatment, then toxins release from the yeast that could easily mix with the blood. This can cause symptoms like dizziness, weakness, nausea, headaches etc.

The above phenomenon was first documented in an 1980 study of the Antifungal Nystin commercial. From the study, they concluded that this phenomenon known as the ‘Herxheimer’ reaction should also be given emphasis whenever the Apple Cider Vinegar Candida treatment is initiated. The reaction has certain flu-like syndromes like low-grade fever or headaches.

Thus we can say that apple cider vinegar for Candida also has its side effects. We can say that people who can tolerate this vinegar, should only use a small quantity of Apple Cider Vinegar in their water or drinks to avoid the above adverse effects.

How to include Candida Apple Cider Vinegar for Treatment?

The pH level in the blood of our body is balanced by the Candida apple cider vinegar treatment. The apple cider vinegar Candida treatment should not involve the use of distilled apple cider vinegar but use organic, unfiltered and unpasteurized vinegar instead, which contains all the necessary nutrients that are needed for fighting Candida. We can consume it easily by mixing one or two tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar in one glass of water, and drink it at regular intervals throughout the day. This can be quite effective for Candida yeast infections. To make the drink a bit tasty we can easily add stevia, which will give it a tangy and refreshing flavour along with some sweetness. Other than this we can also consume the apple cider by adding it to tea along with honey in it.

We can easily switch to Candida apple cider vinegar from normal white vinegar while we are cooking our food and we can add it to our daily diet. Apple cider vinegar can also efficiently replace wine which we can add to your food. We can also easily use it in dressing the salads.

Apple cider vinegar Candida treatment is quite useful because of the fact that it has a probiotic effect. For some of the best results we should avoid foods containing yeast, as well as gluten or any dairy products which can sometimes enhances the growth of yeast. All kinds of fast food, sugary food, processed or canned food should be avoided that helps the yeast to feed on them and grow.

We should try and eat all kinds of plant based pro-biotic rich food that will replenish the gut bacteria faster and more effectively. Some foods like Sauerkraut and Kim chi are some of the cultured vegetables that have more than sufficient micro flora in them which can promote growth of helpful bacteria.

Cure through Apple Cider Vinegar: How efficient is it?

Apple Cider Vinegar is made up of useful enzymes that can help us with easy digestion. As mentioned earlier the healthy bacteria can be easily restored in the gut by creating a healthy environment for the bacteria to survive which can keep Candida under check.

Overall, the Candida apple cider vinegar treatment can be highly effective to stop Candida overgrowth in the body. However, it’s advisable to use this vinegar lightly to avoid the die-off symptoms of Candida.

Candida Overgrowth Diet

Candida albicans can become one of the most dangerous fungi within the body when it starts exceeding its numbers uncontrollably, which in-turn brings about disastrous yeast infections, creating several health issues within the body.
This fungus when in controlled numbers is actually good for the body and health when residing in the intestines and digestive tract. In fact, when in adequate number, it helps in the absorption of nutrients and digestive system to function better. However, situations become hazardous once the number of Candida fungi exceeds the optimum level.  When the concentration of Candida yeast increases in the body, it destroys the linings of the intestines and hampers the bloodstream. In such situations, it becomes vital to follow a Candida overgrowth diet for a generous period of time.

Why Does Candida Overgrowth Occur?

The fine balance of the Candida fungi is preserved by the numerous other friendly bacteria present within our system. However, under certain circumstances these friendly bacteria can diminish causing an innumerable number of health issues. So let us check out some of the basic reasons which give rise to the overgrowth of Candida albicans:

  • High carbohydrate diet and eating loads of sugar-loaded items can increase the growth of Candida.

  • Depression and high stress levels

  • Consuming foods with lots of preservatives like pickles, kombucha, and sauerkraut and so on.

  • Consumption of antibiotics at a high dose or it’s prolonged use, which can cause destruction of the good bacteria living in the body that control the Candida levels.

  • In-take of oral contraceptive pills.

The above are just a few circumstances when the need for a Candida overgrowth diet becomes irreplaceable.

Testing for Candida Overgrowth

If you are not sure whether you are affected with Candida or something else, then here are certain things you might want to know. One of the first things you can do is a blood test which will reflect the amount of antibodies like IgG, IgM and IgA present in your body. Higher levels of these Candida antibodies indicate greater inclination towards the expansion of Candida albicans. However, only blood tests may not be enough at times, and therefore a stool test becomes the next best option. These tests not only determine the presence of the fungus and its area of infestation, but also provide the best remedy suited.

Symptoms of Candida Overgrowth

Other than laboratory tests, there are certain symptoms which your body outbreaks in order to inform you about your health crisis. Fungal nail and skin infections are one of the most common signs. Symptoms include frequent feeling of exhaustion, frail memory, lack of concentration, flare-ups of eczema, hives, psoriasis, mood swings, depression, anxiety, vaginal infections with white discharge, itching, rashes and sugar cravings.

What is a Good Candida Overgrowth Diet to Follow?

Reduce Sugar And AlcoholWhen our body’s friendly bacteria that prevent the growth of Candida decline, then Candida overgrowth starts to take place, making the life miserable. In order to better the situation, a Candida overgrowth diet needs to be followed strictly. This definitely strikes off the use of ‘Sugar’ from one’s intake list. Any form of sugar, in any manner is hazardous for the host body suffering from Candida overgrowth, as it tremendously triggers the growth of yeast cells to multiply rapidly. For the first phase of the treatment, the amount of carbohydrate is generally reduced to 60 grams per day. This intake is variable depending upon age, sex, health and activities performed on a regular basis. Non-starch vegetables, nuts, seeds, low sugar fruits, and sweeter instead of sugar are the most suitable for a good Candida overgrowth diet. Along with this, try and avoid fermented food and drink products like alcohol, breads, and any kind of condiments with preservatives, mushrooms, cheese and margarine.

Candida Smell TreatmentIn 2014, a study was conducted in the ‘Journal of Prosthodontics’ to determine the effect of apple cider vinegar on Candida in patients suffering from denture stomatitis. The microdilution technique was used in this investigation in order to quantify the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration as well as the Minimum Fungicidal Concentration. At regular intervals microbial kinetic test was conducted by examining varying concentrations of MIC, MIC*2 and MIC*4. A roughness indicator was utilised in order to determine the degree of surface unevenness and colour changing properties of acrylic resin samples.  The results exposed that apple cider vinegar of about 4% showed good antifungal abilities to destroy the Candida overgrowth within the mouth, and can be used for treating patients affected with Candida yeast infections. So, apple cider vinegar should definitely be included into the diet of a Candida overgrowth diet. For best results, try to consume 2 tablespoons of (diluted) raw apple cider vinegar which is unfiltered, each day in your foods and beverages.

Candida Jarrah HoneyDue to the increased effect of Candida in human beings, there has been a growing need for discovering newer and better antifungal diagnosis for faster recovery, and in the ‘Medical Mycology Impact Factor Journal’, an investigation looked into the beneficial properties of honey against Candida. This investigation showed that floral honey turned out to be a fighter against the different Candida species like: Candida albicans, and Candida glabrata. The properties of floral honey were found to be more helpful than those available in the drugstores. However, for Candida dubliniensis, only Jarrah honey solely worked far better than any other. This findings of this study point out the great benefits of floral honey and Jarrah honey in fighting Candida overgrowth, but one must avoid artificial honey’s as it doesn’t provide the same benefits. (see table below)

This table shows that Jarrah honey had the highest susceptibility to Candida albicans yeast cells than most other honey types.
This table shows that Jarrah honey had the highest susceptibility to Candida albicans yeast cells than most other honey types.
These findings may be due to the high antibacterial and antimicrobial properties of Jarrah honey and also because of the high levels of hydrogen peroxide inside it.
One may also try ‘Organic Raw Honey’ as well, consume a teaspoon of this honey twice a day. Also in-cooperate some apple cider vinegar into your diet for best results.

For the complete removal of the Candida infection, it is important to create a situation by following a Candida overgrowth diet which is not at all friendly for the fungus to thrive in. Stopping further growth of this fungus is very important, and can be done by maintaining good hygiene and healthy diet. One must completely avoid sugar and alcohol for a Candida yeast infection free life. Cutting off the excess of refined carbohydrates is also necessary. Besides all this, sleep well and keep all your stresses farther away from your mind.
